Welcome to Chester Charter School for the Arts!
SCHOLARSHIP ~ CHARACTER ~ CRAFTSMANSHIP ~ PURPOSE
As a CCSA student, you will find a challenging and innovative educational program, a variety of opportunities to participate in the arts, a talented and passionate group of teachers who are focused on each student’s individual learning needs, and a community that embraces and respects the children and families we serve. At CCSA, you will be offered multiple opportunities to learn about and discover the best in yourself.
Although we are a new school, the founder and many supporters of the school have been committed to the children of Chester for nearly 20 years. The journey began with Dr. John Alston, a Swarthmore College music professor who established the Chester Children’s Chorus in 1994. His contagious enthusiasm for creating exceptional learning opportunities for children has come to life in the Chester Charter School for the Arts.
We encourage you to learn about everything CCSA has to offer. If you are looking for a stimulating educational experience and a school that encourages its students to develop their creativity and interests both inside and outside of the classroom, CCSA may be the perfect fit for you and your family.
We look forward to meeting you personally and thank you for your interest in our school.
